The ocean stretches vastly out into the horizon, nothing to be seen but endless miles of blue. A MAN floats on his back, taking in the sun from above.
He floats along with the waves of the sea, seemingly limp.
A BEAR floats above the body, seemingly walking on thin air.
The bear walks down a nonexistent set of steps and descends from the sky down to the man. The bear speaks with a deep sultry voice.

"One hundred years ago, back when days were when, and now was never ,there was one that proved existence in pure nothing. Hark! Hark, I say! From the quivering lip of the lion to the bold words of a mouse, hark! For when you awake once more, the thick clouds of dust will have settled upon you. Again I say, Hark! So what will it be sailor? What do ye wish upon in these times? Do ye wish for sand for ye feet? Do ye wish for meat for ye tongue? Do ye wish for love in this vastness? What do ye wish?"

The man slowly opens his eyes, they peel open and crust and burnt skin flake off. His eyelids stick together, seemingly been shut for years.The man looks up at the bear, the bear looks back down at him.The man slowly lifts a frail and malnourished arm towards the sun, blocking the light from his eyes. He looks at the bear once again, the bear continues to look back intently. The man's arm falls back into the water as if he could not bare to hold it up for any longer. The man closes his eyes again, and drifts down into the sea.

The bear speaks once again,

"Aye."
